Conny Pulvermacher
Integrative Massage Therapy

BA (Hons),
MPhil (Edu),
Dip CranioSacral Therapy (Biodynamic),
Dip Myofascial Release,
Cert IV Remedial Massage
Registered ATMS, RCST

Conny combines the gentle, non-invasive approach of cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial release, acupressure and aspects of kinesiology to facilitate the integration of experience at multiple levels.

Deeply held emotional habits often translate into physical holding patterns: these can cause chronic and even debilitating pain or fatigue. The combination of the above therapies can engage those patterns gently to free the inertia held within them and facilitate the system towards more resilient balance and a healthier state-of-being.

Cranio-sacral therapy is a process-oriented approach to body work, guiding the body's innate intelligence towards the resources it holds at its core: inherent health and the ability to transform trauma and overwhelm towards balance (homeostasis). In combination with direct connective tissue oriented myofascial release work, as well as the electrical support and balance that acupressure offers to the body (primarily through the viscera), biodynamic cranio-sacral therapy can contribute significantly towards the gradual emergence of a better integrated, calmer and healthier emotional and physical body.

The combination of these gentle therapies is appropriate for all stages of life, ranging from in utero foetal development through to old age, and show dynamic efficacy in many acute and chronic manifestations of human imbalance.

Certificate of Acupuncture.
Certificate in Pilates for Rehabilitation
Vanessa Malone is a registered Sydney Osteopath with 25 years clinical experience. She has completed extensive post -graduate studies and her current interest is managing chronic pain and injury with a combination of Osteopathy, acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation.

Vanessa's practice focuses on the basic Osteopathic principle of restoring function to the body's mechanics (muscles, connective tissues and joints) to make it more efficient and help prevent further pain, injuries or "wear and tear". This in turn assists the body's internal systems in working more effectively by supporting the nerves, circulation and lymphatics. Osteopathy is safe for the whole family and a wide range of common pain conditions respond well to treatment.

·  Back and neck pain/stiffness

·  Sciatica

·  Peripheral joint pain

·  Scoliosis and arthritis

·  Pain in pregnancy, strain injuries and sports injuries

·  Headaches, circulatory problems, asthma and digestive disorders.

After an initial medical history and structural examination to determine the cause of the problem, the treatment will include Osteopathic techniques, such as soft tissue massage, ligament and fascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint manipulation and mobilization, stretching, craniosacral and visceral techniques, as well as acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation.
