PAMELA SHERWIN BIO
I was first introduced to yoga more than 30 years ago while a senior ballet student. Convinced of yoga's many benefits on the body, mind and sprit I undertook the Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching offered by Nature Care College and then undertook further studies in Prenatal Yoga Teaching and Pilates. I have been teaching Yoga for 11 years.
My Yoga teaching style favors a Vinyasa style, moving at all times with a conscious awareness of the breath and how it can facilitate good movement.
Each of my classes aim to both nurture and challenge students, with an emphasis on assisting students to find and maintain good posture, alignment and functional movement so that they may walk life's journey with poise, freedom, ease and grace and remain independent in their daily lives. Students should leave the class feeling relaxed and better than when they entered the room.
