The Yoga Room has built a strong foundation for quality teaching and in-depth learning. Its high standards are reflected in its teachers who have a minimum of 500hrs training accompanied by many years of experience. Many come from medical and/or teaching backgrounds, and offer a safe and nurturing environment for their students.
Our History
The first Yoga Room was established in 1977 by Judy Krupp, our founder and senior teacher trainer.
Since then we have built a vibrant yoga community of students who attend regularly. We have facilitated many workshops and teacher trainings, and have held numerous yoga retreats, both here and overseas.

Our dedicated yoga studio is a beautiful space shared by our yoga community. It is fully equipped with mats and props and we practice at regular room temperatures, It is also a centre for continuing education with regular workshops and accredited teacher training programs.

Our style of yoga offers a fusion of precise alignment and flow practice, in what is termed ‘integrated yoga. Our experienced teachers offer a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Our classes meet all levels of ability, from beginners, to general and intermediate. In the tradition of classical yoga practice, the duration of our classes is 1 1/2hrs, allowing sufficient time for a thorough practice.
