Louise patel
I began my exploration of yoga in 2000 when I was directed to what was described to me as a “breathing class” to help with my anxiety. My mum had always practiced yoga and encouraged me, but it was out of desperation that I delved into it myself and I have never looked back since.
I have experimented with various styles of yoga, with a large part of it spent practicing ashtanga yoga. Today I take an integrated approach that supports and compliments my busy life.
As a registered nurse since 2004 specialising in chronic illness, to feel and move well is a gift to be cherished. My daily practice is a concoction of meditation, pranayama and asana that provides space and strength of body and mind and anchors me to my life.
I am a member of Yoga Alliance and have completed a 500 hour teacher training through Byron Bay Yoga under Judy Krupp and Chloe Thorogood. I am grateful to teach you what I know has been beneficial to me.
