Mei-Ling Bow
Mei is a versatile yoga teacher who first found yoga over ten years ago as a way to manage stress from her corporate IT job. An impulsive decision to train as a yoga teacher led Mei to bring yoga to her community and over the last eight years has gained a wealth of experience teaching in community centres, allied health clinics, schools, gyms and respite services.
Her students have come from all walks of life including pregnant women, seniors, children, teenagers and people with mental illness. In addition to training in pregnancy yoga, childrens yoga and yoga therapy, in 2015 Mei trained at The Yoga Room to become a 500 Hr Level 2 yoga teacher. She is also a qualified Shiatsu therapist.
Mei enjoys teaching a slow but challenging, accessible yoga class to allow students time to feel the sensations in their bodies and understand alignment cues. She is passionate about ensuring that yoga is accessible to everyone and providing a safe environment to experience the amazing benefits in both body and mind.
